Oh god, get ready for a novel...I'm sorry about that. Also here's a NPC that's been a long time coming!

Dislikes: Crocodile tears especially if it’s for attention. Smoking. Overly cheerful people. Being mistaken for a child. People invading her personal bubble. Flirty men. People touching her tail!!

Personality : Joh seems to forever have a scowl on her face. If she isn’t scowling, she’s pouting and if she isn’t doing either, she either angry or mad. She acts tough around everyone despite how young and “cute” she looks. However this is a wall she has built to keep people at bay. If one is able to see past her gruff and grouchiness, they will see she is a smart, kind and a very caring person. However she barely shows this to the world and so most think she is just a sour puss. She is the type, though, to help those in need and will always give a helping hand. It may appear as if she hates helping others, with her moaning and angry rants, but those who know her see this is merely an act. She is very loyal to her friends and family or people she dubs as part of her family.
While she would say she is determined about things, others would call her down right stubborn. Despite her childish looks, she tries so very hard to act grown up in the eyes of those around her. However she has been known to have childish temper tantrums which do not help her quest. Because of her looks people either underestimate her, or treat her in a more simple manner. She hates this and will go out of her way to prove her worth to others. Many will be surprised at how hard of a worker she is. While she may complain about what she is doing, she will go out of her way to make sure it’s done right. Joh may have a hard time saying she’s wrong about something, but given enough time she will admit it and even, though not as passionately, apologize for it.
Joh is slightly insecure about her looks, for while she is cute, she doesn’t feel she is beautiful like many of her family members. It doesn’t help that she is slightly frumpy, has hairy eyebrows and is the shortest person in her family. And her biggest curse of all, at least to her it is, she is covered in freckles. Her cheeks and nose are sprinkled with them and her shoulders and chest are completely covered. Despite wishing she was prettier, she is not vain and doesn’t go out of her way to make herself look more beautiful. However she adores fine clothing and does go out of her to make sure she at least looks decent in public.
Family: Joh comes from a very large family, made mostly up of females. Her Grandmother is a very happy Blissey and her Grandfather is a very serious Grandbull. Her father is an Audino, mother is also a Blissey and all five of her sisters are also Chansey like herself. Her four aunts are also Blissey, and almost all of her cousins are Chansey, with a few Blissey’s and Happiny thrown in. She has no male cousins (especially her mother’s side of the family) that she knows of.

History: Joh’s family has been blessed, or cursed depending on who you ask, with girls. As far back as anyone can remember, nothing but women have been born to the family line. All men in the family have married into it, thus taking on the Echiyoko name to pass on to the next Generation. Joh’s family has also been blessed with great skill in the medical field and so almost all are trained to be healers, doctors or midwifes. Because of their skills, over time the family had become wealthy and considered to be Noble, thus earning the tile of Ladies and Lords. However almost all are kind gentle people and hard workers. The women in the family were and are famous for being sweet, and patience, and always very willing to give a smile. Because of this, it was of great surprise to everyone when Joh had her first temper tantrum. It soon became clear that Joh wasn’t the sunny and cheerful Happiny like the rest of her sisters and cousins were. However her grumpy behavior grew on her family and Joh actually grew up, despite being grouchy all the time, a very healthy and happy child. Her it was her grandfather that she bonded with most for the two had a great deal of things in common. Both stubborn, grumpy and loud when things didn’t go their way. While her grandfather was more of the old traditional ways, he would teach her a thing or two about fighting and defending herself. As she grew, Joh found she was bored of being a healer and wanted to leave to become a samurai. Her grandfather forbid it claiming she was to small, a woman and a chansey. Whoever heard of a chansey warrior. She didn’t speak to him for a month. But this gave her time to think. Joh didn’t really want to fight and hurt people…to much, but she didn’t want to be a healer as well. Not sure what she wanted to do with herself, she began to work odd jobs around her home and about the town she lived in. She found she liked working, it kept her busy, and she liked the money she had earned from it. Deciding right there she would do something that involved the kind of work she liked. She became a waitress, without her grandfather knowing. She liked it a lot. She got to meet many different people and learn more about the world. However this was also how she met a young man. The two spent a great deal of time together and Joh fell in love. The man had even asked her to run away with him but when she went to meet him at the spot they had chosen to elope at, he never showed up. Heartbroken and more bitter towards the world, Joh went back to working until her grandfather found out. Force to quit, Joh locked herself in the house library, reading and teaching herself skills she deemed useful to her. Not long after Joh started to become very sick, at least in the mornings. Unable to figure out what her illness was she went to her grandmother. It was discovered she was pregnant. Surprised and shocked, her family wasn’t sure what to make of this news. Joh honestly couldn’t care what they thought. Though bitter and annoyed at this news, she was secretly rather happy. Her family, though not completely happy, decided to make the best of the worst and sing praise for the child to be. That is until her grandfather heard. A large and very loud fight began with the two, ending with tears and hurtful words that neither truly meant. In a moment of anger, her grandfather demanded because of the scandal she surely would bring to them, she must leave and never return. Yelling back she would never want to return anyway, Joh stripped herself of her family name and quickly left before anyone in her family could stop her or change her grandfather’s mind. With the money she had saved and earned from the few years she worked, she moved near Noir Vale and began to work on opening an inn for those with no homes to stay at. Her family is still looking for her, even her grandfather though he denies it, however no luck has appeared yet for them. However they do get a letter once in a while from her so they are not completely worried.

Additional info: Joh’s medical skills are impressive however she could care a fig about them so she doesn’t speak much about what she knows.
Joh is the youngest in her family however she is only the fifth youngest among her cousins.
Joh is five months pregnant and is actually getting nervous about having the baby.
Oddly enough Joh and Ro seem to be good friends, despite their yin and yang personalities.
Technically she should be address as Lady Joh, but you risk getting punched in the nose if you call her as such.
Joh loves to cook and is always cooking something up.
Joh is always looking for people to stay or work at her inn. If a guest, she expects you to pay up front and don’t make a mess of the place! If one works for Joh, she expects them to be hard workers and honest folk.
While she’s never give into bribes, she may lower the price of a room if one offers her foods and meals she has never had or seen before.
While Joh’s inn, is near Noir Vale, it’s actually somewhere in the middle of nowhere and oddly enough close to all of the villages even if that seems physically impossible. If one were to mark it down on a map, they would never be able to find it. It seems one has to be lost or not looking for it to come cross it. Ro is always ending up at Joh’s place.
Joh’s inn is called Mudizu Hana.
